Area auto sales pick up Volusia-Flagler dealers start new year with uptick in business

Sales of new cars and trucks in the Volusia-Flagler area rose again last month, continuing a trend that began nearly three years ago. Area dealers reported sales of 2,922 new vehicles in January, up nearly 2 percent from 2,866 the same month the year before, according to data compiled by national market research firm Experian.
