Argentina approves Clarin plan to adapt to new Media Law

(Telecompaper) Argentina's Federal Authority for Audiovisual Communication Services (AFSCA) has approved the adjustment plan presented by Clarin Group in order to comply with the Media Law, Telam reports. The AFSCA broad members unanimously accepted the plan. AFSCA said Clarin's plan to divide itself into six units was "perfect and indisputable". Clarin has 30 days to inform to whom it will transfer its licences.
