Arotech to relocate Alabama battery unit to Charleston region

The company that bought a Hanahan-based government contracting manufacturer earlier this year is moving a battery division to the Charleston region under a plan to unify the two businesses. Arotech Corp. said it plans to relocate the subsidiary from Auburn, Ala., to the UEC Electronics site off Yeamans Hall Road early next year.
