He was born on August 8, 1924 in Hartford City the son of Arthur A. and Emma C. Jackson Sr., moved to Muncie as a child, graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1943, and served in the US Navy during WWII. Mr. Jackson was employed with Covalts, Meadow Gold Dairy, Beatrice Foods and Prairie Farms Dairy until his retirement.
