Sessa Capital, One of Ashford Hospitality Prime's Largest Shareholders, Nominates Control Slate of Five Highly Qualified Director Candidates for Election to Board at 2016 Annual Meeting shareholder Sessa Capital LP said Jan. 15 that it intends to nominate a slate of independent directors at the company's 2016 annual shareholder meeting to remedy perceived conflicts of interests and corporate governance Sessa, which reported an 8.2% stake in the company, said the nominations are intended to help effect a sale of the company "on a level playing field for all potential bidders."
