Client and Location For one of our customers we are currently recruiting an Assembly Integration and Test Managerfor their location in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. With more than 200 employees, this company makes a vital contribution to the international space industry in the current operational areas of Solar Arrays, Launching Structures, and Instruments Systems. In these areas they belong to the world top. Currently, they are working on the Solar Array Mechanismsfor the Orion MPCV MultiPurpose Crew Vehicleproject. This spacecraft will be capable of carrying astronauts beyond low Earth orbit LEO, enabling manned missions to the moon, asteroids and, it is hoped, even further. The driving force that will power the Orion capsule and its crew of four or more astronauts deeper into space than ever before is the ATVderived service module MPCVESM. Tasks and Responsibilities As AIT Manager you are responsible to help organise and develop high tech products with the focus on the integration and testing of the product. The right candidate for this role will have significant experience in organising development projects of hightech products focusing on assembly operations. The candidate will also offer design knowledge and skills. Experience and Education v Some years of professional experience as AIT Manager v Should have a pragmatic approach v Professionally contribute to the drafting of tenders v Spar level with Engineers activities v Can coordinate, including manpower planning and cost control v Can chair a technically oriented meeting v Is willing to travel worldwide occasionally v Fluent in written and spoken English.
