(Telecompaper) Aus has unveiled the Fonepad, a device featuring 3G voice and data with a 7-inch screen, and the PadFone Infinity smartphone. The Fonepad is powered by the Intel Atom Z2420 processor, runs on Android 4.1, and supports HSPA+. Fonepad will be available in the UK from late Q2 with 16 GB of internal storage and up to 32 GB of additional storage with a microSD card. All models feature a front 1.2-megapixel camera for video chat and Asus SonicMaster audio technology. Prices start at GBP 179. The PadFone Infinity is a LTE smartphone with a 5-inch screen and a 10.1-inch tablet dock. PadFone Infinity runs on Android 4.2 and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor. The device also features a 13-megapixel camera. Asus has priced the combined device around GBP 799.
