(Telecompaper) Asus has unveiled at CES a new version of its flagship ZenFone. The ZenFone 2 comes with a new ergonomic design, 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display, 13MP/5MP PixelMaster cameras, 4GB RAM and LTE connectivity at up to 150 Mbps. The device runs the the 2.3GHz 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor and Intel's LTE Advanced modem, the XMM 7260. It also comes with a new version of Asus' ZenUI and TrendMicro security software. The first ZenFone was launched at CES in 2014 and reached sales of 1.5 million units per month in the fourth quarter of 2014. The new phone comes in a brushed metal casing with a curved back and rear volume key. The Zenfone 2 will be available in a choice of five colours, with dual-Sim support.
