000 ABNT20 KNHC 082315 TWOAT Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 800 PM EDT Mon Jul 8 2019 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: A trough of low pressure located over south-central Georgia is producing disorganized showers. This disturbance is expected to move southward or southwestward during the next day or two, and a broad area of low pressure is forecast to form over the northeastern Gulf of Mexico on Wednesday. Environmental conditions are expected to be conducive for development and a tropical depression is likely to form by the end of the week while the low moves slowly westward across the northern Gulf of Mexico. Regardless of whether or not a tropical cyclone develops, this system has the potential to produce heavy rainfall along portions of the northern and eastern U.S. Gulf Coast later this week.
