Australian Broadcasting Corporation: The UNESCO World Heritage Committee has begun its annual meeting in Qatar, where a decision will be made on the Federal Government's application to have 74,000 hectares of Tasmanian forests delisted. The committee, meeting in Doha, is expected to deal with the matter later in the week. If the Government's application is successful, it would be a first for a developed country.
