Dealers and auto lenders have worked hard in recent years to make eContracts work for automotive lending.
It now appears that the technology, experience, and process is in place that is enabling auto funding platforms like Dealertrack to develop partnerships with companies like CRIF to increase the efficiency and improve the process of consummating an auto loan without physically going to the dealership or the financial institution.
The eDoc systems developed by Dealertrack is now being used by CRIF, a major player in the credit union auto finance field.
