Auto sales jump 9.2% in October

Turin, November 3 - Auto sales in Italy jumped by 9.2% last month and when the first 10 months are rolled in, the increase averaged 4.2%, according to figures Monday from the transport ministry. It said 121,700 new autos were registered last month, a 9.2% increase, while 1.159 million vehicles were registered in the first 10 months of the year.
