Ahead of its annual meeting in Memphis next week, AutoZone's fiscal first-quarter results for the period ended Nov. 21 showed the car parts retailer working to deliver on its 2016 operating mantra: "Yes, we've got it." AutoZone's fiscal first quarter results for the period ended Nov. 21 included profit up 8.3 percent over the same period last year to $258.1 million; net sales up 5.6 percent to $2.4 billion; and the company's 37th consecutive quarter of double-digit earnings per share growth.
