Automakers, union leaders push for new bridge

The Economic Alliance for Michigan says representatives of General Motors, Ford and Chrysler along with the United Auto Workers union and the Michigan AFL-CIO sent a joint letter Friday to the White House asking for funding for a roughly $250 million U.S. Customs inspection plaza.
