Featuring frequency-controlled drive, KASTOwin Bandsaws offer cutting speeds of 12–150 m/min. Band is hydraulically tightened and looped around hydraulic band guides, which have interchangeable carbide inserts. Ballscrew drives replace hydraulics to ensure tight control over cutting and material feed movements. To minimize idle times, saws include feature that eliminates need for 5 mm stand-off from material surface. Offcut length is 35 mm and shortest possible cut length is 10 mm.
