DuPont™ Vamac® ethylene acrylic elastomer (AEM) products help auto industry lower emissions and improve fuel economy to meet global regulations. Able to perform at temperatures up to 190°C, DuPont™ Vamac® VMX5000 AEM pre-compounds can be used in seals and gaskets, air management systems, and high-temperature coolant hose covers. DuPont™ Vamac® VMX2122 AEM dipolymer, which can have injection molding cycle time <2 min, exhibit favorable compression set values without post-cure process.
