A high-octane cocktail of low interest rates and cheap petrol prices will help supercharge car sales this year, the managing director of Australia's largest vehicle dealership group says. Petrol prices have dropped below $1 a litre in most cities to be sitting at their lowest point in almost eight years as the crude oil price languishes around 12-year lows amid a global supply glut.
