(Telecompaper) Asian operator Axiata Group reported second-quarter revenue of MYR 5.3 billion, which represents an increase of 12.8 percent year-on-year. Revenue growth was mainly boosted by the consolidation of revenue from Nepal in the second quarter of 2016, and higher revenues in Sri Lanka, coupled with a positive translation impact. At constant currency, Group revenue registered an increase of 8.6 percent. EBITDA jumped 20.4 percent year-on-year to MYR 2.1 billion, and margin increased by 2.5 percentage points to 38.9 percent at 30 June 2016.
