BIO selected Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) as Legislator of the Year for 2015. Calling Coons "a steadfast champion" concerning important industry matters, BIO President and CEO Jim Greenwood offered thanks for introducing STRONG Patents Act of 2015, "championing legislation" of benefit to renewable energy investors, as well as continuing support for 12 years of data exclusivity in international trade talks.
