BIO wrote leaders of House and Senate Agricultural Committees to urge reauthorization and mandatory funding of Farm Bill Energy Title programs and eligibility for renewable chemicals. Praising previous bipartisan support, BIO President and CEO Jim Greenwood said supporting these programs "will drive the development of a 21st Century bio-based economy, create high-quality rural jobs, spur economic growth, revive America’s manufacturing sector, and improve environmental health."
