BLM sells $28M of crude helium

The federal Bureau of Land Management on Wednesday auctioned off $28.54 million worth of government-owned crude helium to several bidders in Amarillo. Representatives of nine companies signed up to bid on 275 million cubic feet of helium during the auction, which was held at the Virgil Patterson Auditorium.
