Scott Shearer, Bockorny Group, Washington, DC USDAs Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) announced a final rule that will modernize APHIS import regulations for BSE (bovine spongiform encephalopathy). The rule is to make clear the U.S. is committed to base its BSE regulation on internationally accepted scientific literature and standards set by the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE). read more
