Will the recent spinoff be the major catalyst the market needs to push BWC higher? Babcock & Wilcox will complete the spin off of its Power Generation business into an independent company sometime this summer, a move that should satisfy hedge fund Blue Harbour Group. The usually "friendly" activist fund took a stake in BWC back May 2014 .
