It does not make a difference how great your location is, with a bad Service Manager you will likely never hit your goals and will in fact be lucky to survive.
There is no doubt that the Service Managers role is a tough one but that is why we have Service Managers, to handle those critical tasks and to take on the day to day running of the business. If our Service Manager has consistent trouble living up to our expectations and if he or she has a problem finding the urgency behind the tasks that accompany the title, my very strong recommendation is start looking for a replacement today.
