Badger Meter profit falls in second quarter

Badger Meter Inc. , based in Brown Deer, failed to reach its sales goals in the second quarter of 2015 and reported a drop in profits Monday. Net income for the quarter ended June 30 was $7.9 million, or 55 cents per share, down 10.4 percent compared with $8.8 million, or 61 cents per share, in the comparable period of 2014.
