Bangladesh Apparel Exports in 4th quarter and Full 2019 (Quarterly Report)

2020-03-30 18:15:38| EmergingTextiles.com

Apparel exports from Bangladesh are expected to plunge in the coming months, over the Covid-19 crisis, before potentially rebounding. The clothing industry overcame in 2019 a sharp rise in the minimum wages, although still excessively focused on cotton products. Our statistical series provide a comprehensive view of Bangladesh's clothing exports in 2014-2019, including volume, value, and unit value changes per destination. Data also include US and EU clothing imports from Bangladesh per product category, whereas a comprehensive benchmark comparison between Bangladesh and other countries of origin is also released. All data are available for download.
