Banks, resource stocks drag market lower

The share market has closed lower as falls for the major banks and many resources stocks offset a rebound for Wesfarmers. The All Ordinaries index lost 24 points to 5,846 and the benchmark ASX 200 also fell 0.4 per cent to 5,882.
