To create permanent 2D barcode directly on part, SCANALYST 3 performs DPM (Direct Parts Marking) using laser or peening. Predictive analysis methods ensure process is under control and that barcode is readable. Flexible and portable, system is able to inspect irregular surfaces and comes with on-board database as well as core capabilities for inspecting paper labels and packaging materials. DPM-specific features include, among others, algorithms, lighting, and program flow.
