Bastrop mayor touts citizens

While Bastrop has struggled economically in light of the recession and the loss of International Paper, the city moves forward thanks to its people, according to Mayor Betty Alford-Olive. On Tuesday, Alford-Olive hosted the annual state of the city address at the Bastrop Municipal Center.
