Beloit plant to bring 140 new jobs

Measurements are taken on a large roll of recycled paper as it is fed into a machine that will cut it down to various widths for customer orders at the Pratt Industries USA Inc. paper recycling and corrugated box manufacturing facility in the Staten Island borough of New York City in 2010. The Beloit City Council and the Greater Beloit Economic Development Corp. are expected to vote Monday on their shares of a $10.1 million incentive package for a large manufacturer that intends to open a plant in the city with up to 140 jobs.
