The United Way of Western Connecticut is hosting their third Annual Hometown Heroes benefit dinner on Feb. 27 to honor local community heroes who work to make their communities better through philanthropy and volunteerism. Local businesses and community members from Northern Fairfield and Southern Litchfield Counties "who distinguish themselves through philanthropy and volunteerism" will be honored, according to their website.
