Bike lanes eyed in fixup of Verrazano Bridge

The Verrazano Bridge could get a $400 million bike path and walkway as part of an overhaul of the 50-year-old span. An engineering firm hired by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority's is developing a master plan the bridge that will include the agency's first study of bike and walking paths.
