Bitcoin flaw allows miners to game the system, gain control of entire network

Though the public fervor of Bitcoin might've died down a while ago, the cryptocurrency is experiencing another high. With that, comes news of a massive vulnerability inherent to Bitcoin mining that would theoretically allow someone to not only severely hinder the progress of other miners, but hoard Bitcoins all to themselves and eventually rule over the entire currency.
