Boil order issued for Paris

The Paris Police Department says a boil water notice, as required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, has been issued by the City of Paris due to turbidity levels at the water treatment plant. As a precaution, tap water for drinking, cooking and making ice should be brought to a rolling boil for two minutes and cooled prior to use.
