Bolstered by 'Home,' Dreamworks stock jumps

DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. swung to a third-quarter loss as the studio continues to revamp operations following a series of box-office duds, but shares surged after hours on Thursday as adjusted results beat expectations. Overall, DreamWorks Animation reported a loss of $3.5 million, or four cents a share, compared with a profit of $11.9 million, or 14 cents a share, a year earlier.
