(Telecompaper) French operator Bouygues Telecom is announcing new targets at a Capital Markets Day on 6 October. Bouygues said it aims to add 1 million mobile customers and 1 million fixed broadband customers by 2017, versus 2014. The company expects sales from network growth of over 10 percent in 2017, compared to 2014. The company anticipates an average annual capital expenditure of around EUR 750 million in the coming years. It expects to achieve an EBITDA margin of 25 percent in 2017 and 35 percent longer term. Bouygues added that its LTE network coverage will reach 99 percent of the population by 2018, compared to 72 percent at present. It will extend the network to 20,000 base stations by 2018, versus 15,000 now. In broadband operations, the operator is speeding up the rollout of its directly owned ADSL network, which will cover 16 million homes by the end of this year, compared to 12.3 million at the end of 2014. Thanks to partnership with other operators, it now offers 30 Mbps or faster services to a potential 7 million homes, including 1.5 million via FttH.
