The Atlanta Braves have secured an additional 9.5 acres of land in Smyrna adjacent to the site of SunTrust Park, the new Braves stadium slated for a 2017 opening. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Braves have purchased the headquarters of Genuine Parts Company, located at 2999 Circle 75 Parkway in the Cumberland area.
