Bridgestone donates $1 million for Ebola response

The Bridgestone Group has announced it will make a $1 million donation to help fight the ongoing Ebola outbreak in West Africa. Nashville-based Bridgestone Americas will give Samaritan's Purse $500,000 for work in Liberia, while the Tokyo-based Bridgestone Corp. will donate $500,000 to support UNICEF's efforts in Liberia and Nigeria, according to a news release.
