This is the conclusion of the 'Final Report on ONR Study Group on Microelectronics' by A. Brodzinsky, Office of Naval Research. The report states that the past decade of research on solid state devices, particularly those made from semiconductor and magnetic materials, is just beginning to be felt in the design of military equipment.
