Burglars use blowtorch to break into safe, police say

In separate incidents, two local businesses were burglarized overnight Sunday. Advance Auto Parts on Broad Street and Sally Beauty Supply on Memorial Boulevard were broken into and the thieves made off with thousands in cash, according to reports filed with the Murfreebsoro Police Department.
