Designed for PON ONU/ONT applications up to 12.5 Gbps, M02180 comes in 4.5 x 4.5 mm package and consists of programmable burst mode laser driver integrated with continuous mode limiting amplifier with 6 mV input sensitivity and Clock and Data Recovery with reference-free operation. Laser driver offers 3 selectable modes of operation, and other features include <90 mA typ operation, DC/DC controller, internal state machine controller, and non-volatile memory with digital diagnostics.
