With Machine Feature command, Edgecam 2014 R1 allows users to interactively select feature on their component, which will then be machined. Fixture Manager sees introduction of chucks and collets that can be used for milling and turning, and will automatically filter valid and invalid fixtures based on component size. Additional features include: Chamfering Cycle, which supports 2D and 3D geometry; support for 3D normal offset output; and interactive editing tool for re-designing dialog boxes.
