With optimized Vortex area-clearance strategy, FeatureCAM 2016 enables fast, safe metal removal from solid carbide tooling, in particular designs that give deeper cuts by using full flute length as cutting surface. Software offers ability to adjust and fine tune non-cutting moves of 2.5D and 3D Vortex toolpaths, and supports multi-tasking bar-fed milling machines. For users of FeatureTURN, selection of turning tools has been simplified with ability to use single tool in multiple orientations.
