Delivering processing efficacy and flexibility shaft-type parts, Landis Twin Turret™ (LTT) features 2 rotary hydrostatic turrets with integral servo motors and X-axis hydrostatic ways with linear motor in-feed. Multi-spindle grinding machine handles workpieces with swing up to 180 mm and lengths to 400 mm using up to 350 mm dia and 40 mm wide CBN wheels operating at speeds to 120 m/sec. Design eliminates mechanical backlash, while hydrostatic spindle bearings provide stiffness and damping.
