CP Rail profit rises to $254-million, revenue edges up

Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd.'s net income rose by 16 per cent in the first quarter, a sign the Calgary-based carrier overcame the harsh winter as it posted a profit of $254-million or $1.44 a share.
