Commercial mortgage lenders expect another steady year in 2014, with a healthy appetite for risk and an emphasis on multifamily and industrial properties. Researchers with the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) have just released projections for $300 billion in commercial and multifamily mortgage originations for 2014 at the organizations annual convention and expo in Orlando, Fla. The figure would represent a 7 percent increase from origination volumes reported in 2013. read more
