Canadian Pig Herd Continues to Grow

CANADA - As at 1 July, the number of pigs on holdings in Canada rose for the fifth consecutive year to 14.1 million head, 2 per cent up on the same period in 2016 and 12 per cent higher than 1 July 2012, according to latest data from Statistics Canada, reports Millie Askew, Senior Analyst at AHDB.
