Canal+ unveils new pricing structure for French TV offering

(Telecompaper) Canal Plus has unveiled a new pricing structure for its French TV offering at a press conference on 13 October. During the event, the company also made several other announcements, including the forthcoming launch of a new 'Canal' logo and the introduction of an updated set-top box, expected in mid-2017. Launching on 15 November, Canal Plus' new modular structure will be advertised with a EUR 19.90 entry-level price point. Alongside this cheaper headline price, the premium TV offering is repackaged into thematic groups, including sports, movies and family bundles.
