Guardian: Tony Abbott says he is sure public pressure will force the Labor party to repent of its support for the carbon tax and allow its repeal, but has not ruled out the possibility that companies will have to pay the tax until July 2015 if Labor sticks to its guns. Repeal legislation to be released by the government on Tuesday afternoon will be the first item of business when parliament resumes on 12 November.
