Cargill request to clear Canal Street land restrictions would allow future property sale

Cargill Inc. is trying to clear restrictions to land it owns on Canal Street in the Menomonee Valley, a sign the company is interested in trying to sell the plant. The company last summer closed operations at its West Canal Street plant, which has properties east and west of the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino .
